Unless I have been in your home &/or cattery, I require information from you before I decide if you will be allowed to
adopt a “Pet”, “Breeder/Show” quality European Burmese.
1. I require photos of your home. Please include the areas the kitten/cat will spend its time, (bedroom, bathroom,
climbing poles, litter box area, living room, kitchen, etc). If you live in an apartment, you must have a release signed by
management stating you may have a kitten/cat.
2. I require two letters of recommendations. One letter from your vet stating the basic care you have given your
other pets. I will need a second letter from a personal acquaintance vouching for your character. These letters are to
be sent directly to me by the above persons. The letters are not to go through you.
3. I require a deposit after kittens are born & one is designated for you of ½ down and the other ½ prior to pick
up or delivery. If you change your mind and decide not to adopt the kitten/cat, the deposit is non-refundable. I will
refund if I find another adoptive family and only the amount I was able to adopt for.
4. This animal will NOT be allowed outside. These are strictly indoor animals. This is in the best interest for health
and welfare. There are many health hazards in the outside world, which these cats are not afraid of. These animals are
very trusting and can be stolen, hurt or killed easily.
5. If for any reason you are unable to keep your kitten/cat. The cat will NOT be sold nor given away without
contacting the breeder for agreement. I will take the kitten/cat back if a home cannot be found. If you move, please
inform me of your new address, phone, email, etc.
6. “PETS” will be spay/neutered prior to delivery. They will also have a microchip. You must register the
microchip. These costs are already added into the adoption price. Transportation is not added into the cost of
adoption and the adoptee will be billed for the transportation.
7. Breeder/Show cats will NOT be spay/neutered until approval has been acquired by Breeder, Allene Keating.
Breeder/Show cats will NOT be sold or leased or used by any other breeder.
The cat or kitten must be neutered and placed with original Breeder's approval.
8. Breeders (studs and dams) can only be bred to other European Burmese. They may not be mixed with any other
breeds (exception are Burmilla's). Legal action will be taken if my cattery lines are used with any other breed except European Burmese or Burmilla's.
9. NO Mayonaka Lines for 5 generations may be sold to Breeders or anyone in China.
10. General Health Guarantee for all the kittens/cats, both parents have tested for Leukemia, GM2 and HK. All cats
are vaccinated for feline diseases. The kittens come to you with their vaccinations. Thus all kittens are believed to be
free from diseases. I recommend purchaser to have their kitten/cat examined by a veterinarian within the first 7 days
from date of purchase. (NOTE: DO NOT introduce this kitten/cat to any other cats until tests & exam has been
completed. DO NOT introduce this kitten/cat to any cats that are NOT proven to be negative. If the kitten is introduced
to other cats before tests & exam results, this health guarantee is null and void). If the kitten is deemed to have a life
threatening genetic defect, the seller will replace the kitten ( when available). If your kitten becomes ill after
delivery please notify me immediately.
